Over Half a Century

When

Since 1958, the company F.G. Bianco began its operations in Milan, specializing in the distribution of steel tubes. With headquarters at the Magazzini Generali in Brescia and the opening of the first owned warehouse in Flero (BS) in the 1960s, we laid the groundwork for sustainable and lasting growth.

In 1973, Sicam was established with its operational center in Parona Lomellina, strategically positioned along a railway route through which a significant portion of the product was transported at that time. Over the subsequent years, the descendants of the founder expanded our presence internationally, establishing affiliate companies in key markets such as the United Kingdom, France, Germany, the United States, Denmark, Spain, Sweden, and, in 2015, Canada.

Our expansion, albeit gradual, has always been guided by a solid corporate strategy and a deep commitment to excellence. Today, the Bianco Group remains firmly rooted in family values, with group companies still owned by the three branches of the Bianco family, ensuring high supervision and attention to all our activities.

Thanks to our deep knowledge of the materials we handle, we have become reliable consultants for our customers, many of whom consider us true partners in their projects.

Cutting edge IT

We quickly realized that traditional management programs were not suitable for handling the complexity of tube handling operations. For this reason, we were among the first to invest in an advanced computer network, running software developed internally by a dedicated team of programmers.

These tools enable us to provide our staff, wherever they are, with immediate answers, including full traceability of materials and direct control of availability. With this system, we can accurately monitor the progress of orders.

Our computer network also allows us to optimize service on a continental scale: within the Europe and North America regions, material availability is shared among various sales departments and warehouses. Each employee has real-time access to product availability in every warehouse, enabling each company within the group to collectively form a single large warehouse available to our customers across the entire continent.
